Sammamish Little League has a diverse collection of fields that we paly games and hold practices on. Details on those fields and resources are below.

Fields And Facilities Used By Sammamish Little League

Below are all regularly-used baseball and softball fields in addition to other facilities used for SLL-related events. The table also provides the best place to go for information regarding field conditions and status.

Field Conditions And “Rain-Out” Info

City Sports Fields - The City of Sammamish will post information regarding sports field closures HERE by 3:00 PM each weekday. If there is “No Report” posted, this means the field is not closed. For weekends and holidays, the City will Sammamish update their Rain-Out Hotline (425-495-2493) by 7:30 AM for morning events and 3:00 PM for afternoon/evening events. City of Sammamish fields used by Sammamish Little League include the following – addresses are shown in the table at the end of this page:

  • East Sammamish Park

  • Pine Lake Park

  • Klahanie Park

King County Sports Fields - Klahanie Park is now managed by the City of Sammamish and so, as of today (3/9/17) there are no King County parks Sammamish Little League uses regularly. If there are any SLL games or practice scheduled at a King County Park, the King County Park & Rec Division will announce fields closures on their Rain-Out Hotline: 206-296-1420.

All Other Fields - Coaches and/or Umpires are responsible for assessing playability and safety of all other fields and facilities used by Sammamish Little League. Decisions should always be in favor of the safety and well-being of SLL players and families. Additionally, consideration should be given to whether or not playing on and field may result in damage to the field. Regularly-used fields in this category include:

Communications

We encourage all SLL coaches to have a plan for communicating with their player families on the status of games and practices early enough to avoid confusion and disappointment. Assigning the responsibility for an assistant coach to check status of the scheduled field several hours before the event and having an email distribution list to communicate to the team broadly is recommended.
